In the long-standing tradition of supporting American ingenuity and creativity, Tiffany & Co. announces its partnership with the Whitney Museum of American Art. Tiffany has signed on to be the lead sponsor of the next three Whitney Biennials, the first of which is slated to open in 2017.

Being on the forefront of New York’s art and culture scene is nothing new to Tiffany. Founder Charles Lewis Tiffany established the brand in 1837 and was also a founding trustee of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. His iconic exhibit at the 1889 Paris World’s Fair was donated to the American Museum of Natural History by financier J.P. Morgan; and the company has long supported the Museum of the City of New York and the Museum of Arts and Design, among other institutions both in New York City and abroad.
The Whitney partnership marks a shared commitment to the arts and preserving New York’s cultural treasures. “The Biennial is world-renowned for encapsulating the spirit and creativity of the artists of our time,” says Adam D.
